A to B
UI / UX design
Concept design and prototype of a cycling app that directs you to your destination in a clear and safe manner, which is easy-to-understand while on the move. The app learns your routes and recognises when you cycle near them, creating a personalised cycle network.
Large arrows guide you to your destination, replacing the less intuitive method of following a dot on a map. The app automatically knows when you have stopped moving, for example at traffic lights, and temporarily shows you an overview of your route and remaining journey, automatically reverting to the large arrow view when you begin moving again.
A to B learns your city with you. It recognises if you have tried a new route and, if you feel confident cycling it, can add it to your network. The app will then favour directing you along your network of routes, minimising the need to look at your phone while cycling and growing your knowledge of a city.
