The Linkway project improves the legibility of the airside environment at Stansted Airport.

Many workers at Stansted Airport, from pilots to aircrew to contractors, are not regular visitors and often can be faced with an unfamiliar and confusing airside environment. Many regular workers had formed dangerous bad habits, such as crossing at non-signalised points. A formal system was needed to direct users along the safest route to their destination.

The Linkway wayfinding system has a bright and bold identity that is recognisable and stands out in a busy and expansive airport environment. Concise messages and interesting facts create a trail for airport workers to follow along approved routes.
